奥多摩
ツアー内容
巨樹と清流のまち奥多摩を自転車で訪れ、御嶽でバーベキューを楽しみます。 絶景の奥多摩ダムより悠々と流れる多摩川を眺めながら、自転車で奥多摩のすばらしい自然を満喫します。 川沿いの景色や、花、野生生物、親切な地元の人々などとのふれあいを楽しみましょう。
走行内容と距離
多摩川沿いの道は舗装されており状態は良好です。 JR鳩ノ巣駅からの距離は7ｋｍで、御嶽に戻る国道411号は舗装されていない道もありますが、オプションとして別の舗装されたルートを走ることも可能です。 御岳までの距離は14ｋｍ。 上り坂が多く、多少のスタミナが必要ですが、走行は比較的楽でスムーズです。
コンディションの良い自転車とヘルメットが必要です。
集合場所
JR鳩ノ巣駅 － 10am
新宿駅から中央線で立川駅まで、立川駅より青梅線が利用できます。
解散場所
JR御嶽駅

What Do We See? ... The area of Okutama is known as ''The Gardens of Tokyo''. The Tama River flows nice and clear straight from the picturesque Okutama Dam. We will be cycling through the heart of this picture postcard area. River side beauty, flowers, local wildlife, scenery and friendly people will be standard through this one day tour.
Ride Conditions & Distance ... The road running parallel to the Tama River is well maintained and in good condition. Distance from Hatonosu JR Station is 7km. The ride back down to Mitake consists of route 411 and some dirt tracks. ( there is the option of not using the dirt tracks ). The distance to Mitake is approximately 14 km. There are a number of hills so the ride can be a little strong but is easy and smooth. A BBQ at Mitake at the end of the tour helps to unwind!! Bicycle Helmet is required!! Good condition bike is required!!
Meeting Point ... 10:00am @ Hatonosu JR Station. Access from Shinjuku -> CHUO LINE ( express is fastest ) through to Tachikawa. At Tachikawa catch the OME LINE ( Holiday Train ) to Hatonosu Station.
Finishing Point ... Mitake JR Station
